which were awarded after the two-year school closures in Uganda, raises the question of whether the scholarships have a lasting effect.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<hr>\n<div>\n<div class=\"_df_book df-lite\" pillars.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>One is a high-level <strong>&#8220;cost-benefit analysis&#8221;<\/strong> based on statistical data collected since the start of the project.<\/li>\n<li>The second pillar consists of <strong>field research<\/strong> conducted in Uganda in August 2022.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The study confirms the significant personal and social benefits<\/strong> that the unexpected scholarships have brought to the recipients, their families and their schools.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The study argues that the benefits of scholarships far outweigh the costs.<\/strong> Unfortunately, it also identifies disadvantages such as moral dangers and a culture of dependency.<\/p>\n<p>Although the scope of the study is limited, its conclusions offer <strong>valuable lessons
