Would we exist without them? Of course not. Mothers give us our first unconditional love. Security so that we can develop. They help us to learn to stand on our own two feet. Mothers always remain role models. Rachel, the first in the video, came to Kids of Africa around 15 years ago with severe physical deformities in her jaw and face.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Rachels Weg: Vom Waisenkind zur Landwirtschaftsstudentin \u2013 ein Muttertagsgruss aus Uganda\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/eWR4rYuulTc?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>It is thanks to a Belgian doctor who visited Kids of Africa that he successfully operated on her and changed her life. But there is also the story of her mother. She stood by her and believed in her when her disability stigmatised her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She awakened her love of nature and farming. In the seasons, the time to sow and the time to harvest. For all this and much more, the three friends have produced this short video. As a thank you to all women and mothers who give more than they take.
