With best wishes for Advent, I would like to show you the impact of your support with two examples. In the first video, Esbern Budolfsen, our Head of Education, introduces you to a family affected by poverty. They are one of many whom we support with school fees. The focus is on Brenda and her family. They are strong women.
In the second example, I introduce you to Steven, our young athlete. He grew up with Kids of Africa and, like most of our protégés, wants to make the world a better place. Both Brenda and Steven demonstrate the value and impact of your donation. Thank you for helping them. They need you.

See for yourself how precarious life is for countless Ugandan families. Children are often the ones who suffer the most. Our 20 years of experience help us here. We understand the circumstances and know how to intervene. When we cover school fees for children, it’s not just about learning. It’s about dignity, values and a way out of poverty. For them, for their families and for their country.
Brenda and her family are struggling with poverty. Thanks to covered school fees, she has the opportunity to receive an education instead of working as a child labourer.
Steven
Steven grew up with us as an orphan. Although he never knew his biological parents, he has had a better start in life than many in Uganda. Today, with 20 years of experience behind me, I know that a loving family, education, sport, health and our small village can achieve great things on a small scale. See for yourself. His self-confidence and determination are a good start for shaping his future.
Steven grew up as an orphan at Kids of Africa. Today, he trains as an athlete and is seizing his opportunity for a self-determined future.
