How it all began

Dear friends
Sometimes chance knocks in life. This is also how the story of Kids of Africa begins. It didn’t start with a grand plan, but with an unexpected begging letter.
What followed was a personal visit, friendship and the will to help. To help children who had lost their families. Children whose need, fear and poverty cried out for help. Children who had nothing but their humanity. We believe in them. We believe in each of our protรฉgรฉs. What else could we believe in?
This is exactly what Kids of Africa is all about. For twenty years now. It is the story of a coincidence that makes history itself. Sometimes little happens for a long time – and suddenly a lot happens very quickly. Organising, networking, planning, building. A short video illustrates in fast motion how Kids of Africa has achieved great things on a small scale in twenty years thanks to your help. Thank you. A better future for the poorest of the poor also improves our future.
I spent last weekend in Uganda. I should send you my warmest greetings and thank you.
You change the world!
Best regards
Always yours
