Joseph is an artist and a protégé of Kids of Africa. He paints, writes lyrics, composes, sings – and inspires people. He grew up with Kids of Africa and is now on the threshold of an independent life. A huge step. He has chosen a path fraught with hardship. Joseph – a versatile artist
Here you can see him standing in front of one of his paintings. He cannot yet make a living from his art. But he is finding his way, and every now and then he manages to sell a piece.
Joseph – as a singer
It was in the church choir that he discovered the power of music – and the talent he now wants to develop. Today, he writes the lyrics, composes and produces his own songs. His performances are a regular feature at our village festivals. He already has quite a small fan base.

What next?
Who knows? Music can enrich the heart and soul – but it rarely enriches the wallet. And yet we believe in art. Because it is as diverse as life itself. Because it can move and strengthen us.
