Growing together through play, sport and fun 🏃🥳

Dear friends,

Today I’m just sharing a few snapshots with you. Because sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words. You can see some of our kids renovating the dilapidated playground, and a large group of kids from our village and neighbourhood playing sport. They were wonderful moments – I hope the photos manage to capture some of that spirit.

Sport, games and fun

Here are some photos from the sports day with our ten young Kids of Africa coaches. Around 300 children took part this week, over the course of three days. It was organised by our wonderful Esbern, with the key support of his fantastic coaches. That’s how happiness in sport can sometimes be almost tangible. This, too, is part of our vision of positive development. Thank you for supporting our many young participants!

Working together brings people together

Also this week, some of the young people we support helped to rebuild our playground, which had previously been falling into disrepair. This, too, is part of our philosophy. Meaningful work builds practical skills, is fun and provides valuable life experience. Thank you for supporting the young people we look after!
