How Sarah changed her life – a special Easter story

Dear friends
Easter is also the biggest holiday for many in Uganda. Today I would like to tell you a fitting story.
Last year, our wonderful principal, Dorte Budolfsen, founded a “sewing group”. The initial aim was to produce school uniforms cheaply and in large numbers. But, as is so often the case, many more good things were created than just uniforms. Young people learned how to sew. Some became enthusiastic about textile design. This is how development succeeds: with joy and skills. And some capital, here in the form of a sewing machine.

Sarah, a single mother of five, was one of the young participants. Sarah never had an education. Until recently, she didn’t have a job either. But she is blessed with love, strength and motivation. Dorte recognized this – and encouraged her. Watch the video to see for yourself how her life has changed for the better.
Is this an Easter story now? Not in the strict sense. But somehow it is. Because it shows how Sarah, who never owned anything, can move mountains. Whether this is luck, coincidence or a gift, you can see it however you like.
I wish you a bright Easter Monday!
Your
